Rockin' Rolls

As a part of Sarah's initiation into our family, she was given the assignment to make rolls for Thanksgiving.  This was the first time that she had ever made them by herself, and although she wasn't incredibly pleased with how they turned out, we all thought they were delicious.

Sarah happily cutting the dough

The first batch or so and Sarah rolling some more dough.

A picture of dough rising is almost as good as a picture of water boiling.

Sarah had so many sheets of rolls that she was using the sink as well.
(Sorry to any family members who might have gotten dish soap in their rolls.)

The finished product.  Sarah wasn't too happy that I took her picture with them because she wasn't proud of how they turned out.  I'm sure she's really happy that her unhappy face is going onto the blog.

And for anyone who was wondering what the Gingerbread Castle looked like on Thanksgiving.
