After leaving Szentendre, we headed up to the castle at Visegrád (close to Nagymaros on the map). The castle is on top of the highest mountain around and overlooks the Danube (obvious place to build a castle/fortress when it was built) with some incredible views. We got there right before it closed, so they let us in for free, as long as we would be out in fifteen minutes. What that meant is that we had to run through and take pictures as we went (Róz and Anna waited at the entrance while we went through with Feri).
The entrance to the castle.
Me and Sarah in front of the entrance.
(Bedhead not as noticeable from afar.)
Me and Sarah on the stairs to one of the towers of the castle.
A little medieval torture for both of us.
(Although we both seem to be enjoying it.)
The view of the Danube from the castle.
